Last week, we sat down with Henry Herrera, the newest member of Newstripe’s customer service team, to learn more about him and his experiences with customers.
What do you like about working at Newstripe?
It’s a fun working environment. I look forward to coming to work each day and learning from my coworkers. I also enjoy representing Newstripe on the phone with customers, as it is a company that delivers quality products and stands behind its workmanship.
Do you have a favorite Newstripe product?
I like our PackMaster waste compaction products as these innovative machines help reduce the amount of waste in our landfills and that’s good for the environment. Our PackMaster products are simple and effective in what they were built to do, and they don’t take up too much space. I think every business that produces waste should own a PackMaster to reduce their environmental footprint!
Have you had an interesting customer interactions yet?
So far, they have all been good. Newstripe customers are very nice and patient when I’m trying to help them find a solution to fit their needs. It’s also fun to learn about their businesses and their customers.
Do you follow any of the local sports teams?
As a Denver native, I follow all the Denver area sports teams like the Denver Broncos, Denver Nuggets, Colorado Rockies, and Colorado Avalanche. I have always kept up on our home teams no matter where I lived throughout the country.
What do you like doing outside of work?
I enjoy many outdoor activities like hiking, mountain biking, motorcycle riding, and playing sports. My favorite hobby, I’d have to say, is playing poker. It is a game of strategy, focus & patience. I enjoy trying to read my opponents’ body language and maintaining a good poker face. Poker is a game that takes a short time to learn but a lifetime to master, and I plan to keep working on getting better!
